About Tracey Alley

I was born, raised and still live in sunny south-east Queensland. I love animals, my family and many friends. I feel incredibly blessed to be able to live my dream job and be a full-time author. I've wanted to write for as long as I can remember so this really is my dream come true.

I enjoy travel, boxing [watching, no longer participating due to a back injury], yoga, horse-riding and I like to challenge myself to continually learn new things.

I have degrees in Ancient History, where I specialised in Egyptology, and Comparative Religions, where I specialised in ancient pagan religions. I incorporate a lot of that into my fantasy work, using old myths and legends and religious practices.

My goals are to keep improving my character to be a decent human being and leave some positive footprints behind me. To keep writing and improving my craft, and finally to explore as much of the world as I am able.

Review by: M. R. Mathias on Feb. 24, 2011 :
The story was a pleasant suprise, as I expected more of a "Kids" fantasy. This should be enjoyable for fantasy fans of all ages. I'm hoping that Ms. Alley sends me the second book in the series to review, otherwise I will just have to purchase it, because I want to know where she takes these characters. The illustrations were pretty cool too.

I read this book in 2010. This review is the same as the one I posted on amazin then.
