Mary Porter the "Hypnotist"
Mary Porter is a college student completely obsessed with witches and hypnotism. One day she decides to try hypnotizing her friend, both for fun and for pleasure. More
Mary Porter was twenty years old and going to college for a degree in phycology. As cliché as it sounded, she chose this major because her life was very much undecided, but she knew she liked the human mind. She constantly read about witches in her favorite story books and desperately wanted to be one.
Part of her thought that witchcraft was not real, but another part of her was obsessed with learning incantations and spells that were relevant to her needs and wants.
Bored in her dorm room, she would constantly try to hypnotize her friend since childhood, Tim Beaver. He was known as Beave because everyone thought that they were being clever alluding to an old television show. The name stuck. Beave thought of himself as Mary’s protector, Mary’s tower. He was stocky and stood at a sturdy 6’ 10” – almost two feet taller than Mary.
Mary had always been particularly petite, but no one would have thought so based on the way she playfully ordered around Beave. She got him to carry her books and run errands for her, and he did not even mind. Being able to admire her and see her every day was enough for him.
Beave was always respectful though. On study nights they would both be sitting on her bed reading books. Occasionally, Mary would have to change clothes to go out to a movie or some other event, and Beave would never look. Mary took notice and thought it was very knightly.
One night, Mary and Beave were sitting on her dorm room bed watching a movie on her bedside television when Mary got out an old pocket watch.
Beave groaned and was about to say something when Mary cut him off, “No really! I think I’ve got this hypnotizing thing down now!”
