I am grateful to Our Lord Jesus, who called me with His beckoning, to witness what it was He would have me write about, forty years later. The summons called me to change my life, even as a woman who back-slided because of life’s challenges and pain, from time to time. He always provided friends to pray for me and gave me strength for the long journey ahead.
I am deeply grateful for the Pastor and Principal of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton’s church and school. Msgr. Kevin McAuliffe, who by his homilies directed me as well as all of his parishioners, in the right way to go to do God’s will in all things. And, Dr. Carey Roybal-Benson, for giving me his “sound engineer”, and use of the school after hours, to do the audio version of the work in progress. Steve Borzage, also our organist and pianist, gave hours of his free time to record the book and edit it. May God reward them all as only He can.
Thanks in abundance to all who have helped me and befriended me over forty years to date; especially Rt. Rev. Benedict Groeschel, C.F.R. and Mother Regina Marie, O.C.D. of the Carmelite Sisters of the Most Sacred Heart of Los Angeles. In particular, Vivian Satkowski,T.O.C., and the many who have prayed me through the difficult days and shared the joy of the blessed ones. In Jesus through His Mother Mary, I extend my love and good wishes that all be blessed with all that is necessary in life to sustain it, and the salvific graces to come to fruition in the best of the world to come, in the Beatific Vision, by their prayers, as well as all who have prayed for me. They have been a light in the darkness and a balm in the sojourn, while we await His Second Coming in glory, majesty, dominion, authority, and justice tempered with everlasting mercy, both now and forever.
