Clutterbug: A zine about stuff

Rated 3.00/5 based on 1 reviews
Look around you right now: how much 'stuff' do you have? This zine is all about chucking stuff out, resisting buying new stuff, and looking at the processes of how we engage with stuff along the way. I consider the 'buy-ology' of why we desire and buy what we do in the first place and also 'flow': the exact opposite of the desire-acquire cycle. If you hoard stuff, or purge, this will interest you. More

About Phiona Stanley

Mostly I write about travel. By day, I'm an academic. This means I spend time thinking, writing, and talking about language learning, transnationalism, critical theory, ethnography, positionality, grounded theory, teacher education, and a few other bits and bobs.

But then when I come home I write fun stuff - like the stuff that's on here - and it's not academic, not at all. Instead, it's mostly about travel (did I mention that?) But I do use a few big words every now and again, just to keep you on your tippy toes. You can thank me later.
