About Kate Perry

As a little girl, Kate dreamt of many things. Like becoming a ninja. Dressing up in black and carrying a big sword? Seemed like a no brainer.

However, Fate had other plans for her, and she studied Kung Fu San Soo instead. A Kung Fu Master, Kate now has more weapons than she ever imagined—including several swords.

She lives in San Francisco. Voted by her friends as the woman they'd most want to stroll with down a dark alley, Kate's as likely to be spotted at the opera as she is doing tai chi in Golden Gate Park. Usually wearing black—in both cases.

I love Kate Perry! I have been reading Sherilyn Kenyon and Anya Bast and all for years - not new to reading all sorts of heat levels. Ms. Perry's writing is so enjoyable I want to hang out in her world!

Absolutely loved it!
You start feeling like you know what's going on but then the plot thickens. I love the twists and turns.
This is more than just a common love story between two characters there's multiple love stories happening at the same time.
The characters were so well written, they really came off the page and came to life, Olivia is a very believable character with a lot of inner strength and Michael is the typical male with no clue what he's doing and why.
This book made me laugh, cry and go all goo-ey on the inside.
I couldn't stop reading and at the end I wish it just kept going.
