A regular Saturday nights work for Jack involves stalking London's west end and cleaning the streets of the 'human garbage' who roam there, and he takes great pride in his work. As Jack goes through his regular Saturday night shift in the West End he bitterly describes his distaste for everything and everyone around him as he carries out his duties. After tooling himself up with supplies and a little mindless violence he has a successful start to his night but full of confidence he decides to savor the chance to live it up in one of his clientele's homes in Notting Hill. After discovering a sleeping pregnant woman in the house Jack forgets his professional attitude for one night and falls asleep on the job, waking up to disastrous consequences and Jacks first ever moral dilemma.
