About Jay W. MacIntosh

Jay W. MacIntosh, aka Janet Tallulah Jewell, is a retired attorney / former actress / wife / mother / grandma / ex-college professor (Chairman of the Division of Humanities at a branch of the University of Georgia) and ex-real estate broker. As an attorney, she specialized in employment litigation, helping employees who had been victimized in the workplace. As an actress, she performed in film, television, commercials, and theatre. Jay is a member of The Actors Studio, the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (serving on the Blue Ribbon Panel for the EMMYS), SAG-AFTRA, and ASCAP. She attended Whittier Law School and is a member of the California Bar. She also holds a Master’s Degree in Drama, and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, Phi Kappa Phi, and Zodiac Scholastic Society. She has published The Origins of George Bernard Shaw’s Life Force Philosophy, Moments in Time, Capturing Beauty, and Janet Tallulah. Jay currently lives in Nice, France, with her husband, Steve Orlandella, writer and television producer.
