Very good story. Fire the most part I really couldn't wait to see what would happen next, though a few of the parts set in Fairie dragged a bit.. While, for the most part, the protagonists are appealing, and the villains are dastardly, there are definitely shades of grey, as well. The actions of the characters make sense from their points of view, and the flow of the story is consistent with what they knew at the time. The pacing of the novel is also excellent. Some of the humorous parts had made laughing out loud! I'm looking forward to reading the remaining books in the series.

Following Meegan in her latest paranormal/fae shenanigans is an entertaining adventure. She doesn't always know what she is doing, but by God she is going to do it the best she can. Her love for her monstrous friends endeared them to me. I can't help but want my own filth to love. Meegan isn't an all powerful superhero, she is just making the best of what she's got. She can make it through anything, as long as she has Pain, Luck, coffee, and a few smokes. Keep them coming!
