Kayann Marceline is the long distance grandmother to six grandchildren. She lives in St. Louis, Missouri, and her grandkids live in Oregon and Belgium. Her mission is to spread the word that no matter how far grandmas and grandpas live from their grandchildren, they can still form and maintain close, loving bonds. She has been working at staying connected with her brood for fifteen years.

Useful little book, simply written but lots of easy ideas and tips for things you can do with grandchildren both at a distance and when you visit them or they visit you. I liked the positive approach to what can be looked upon as a sad situation and yet nowadays is a very common one. I don't have grandchildren yet but bought it because I live at a distance from my young adult children and realise that one day I may have grandchildren and would like from the beginning to develop a positive approach to being at a distance.
