I haven't read Big Easy yet which is the book before this one with the same basic people in the story from what I understand. I was reminded of that HBO New Orleans show who's title escapes me at the moment, in the way the people are like in New Orleans with their backgrounds and tradtions there. I was entertained and intrigued with the storyline and the twist and turns and the ending! Eric Wilder did it again as I have enjoyed some of his other stories and this one was another one. Now I want to go and read Big Easy. This one can be read as a stand alone but I want to see what happened in the other book since its the same people in it.
