About H. Lee Morgan, Jr

I'm Lee,
As a child I've always had a vivid imagination, but it wasn't until I was in a swimming accident and becoming paralyzed due to having my neck broken at the age of 14 that I could bring my imagination to life, through writing. My life has undoubtedly been harsher than others, being forced to live in a wheelchair and all, but my imagination, personality and drive to continue has helped me to write. It's impossible to know if I'd still write if not for being a quadriplegic, but I've come to enjoy writing and sharing my passion and stories with others.

Review by: Lexie Snyder on June 02, 2012 :
This was by far my favorite book in the series. It really explained so many things about why Connor constantly adapted and learned how to use his abilities so quickly and creatively. It made complete sense after everything was revealed as to why he was the “leader” of his family, even though besides Kara he is the newest member. It also explained why he was so unique even before he became a Balancer with Sarah. Even though I love spoilers, you're going to have to read it for yourself, to find out just why Connor and Sarah are so unique!

I loved how Connor and Sarah constantly drew people, or rather different immortals, together. One of their most unique gifts is not their abilities, but rather their compassion and concern for others. Connor draws people to him, not because of his raw power and strength, but because of his kindness and ability to look beneath the surface of each individual and accept them for who they are.

I loved the relationship Connor formed with Veronica, it was so funny and served as the basis for other friendships to grow. The baseball scene with the Keepers vs. Connor and his family and friends was great. I look forward to reading the next book! It seems that each book just keeps getting better, and I’m very excited to see what kind of child a Balancer and a Harmonizer produce!
