Once I started reading this book I couldn't put it down. It is a very believable story about what could be happening now or could be happening in the near future and how easily this country could be brought down. I wish everyone would read this book

I enjoyed the book. I was disappointed when the pastor was killed. Not a good ending but when things like this happen one cannot expect a good ending. I figured things will eventually get bad for the Christians and senior citizens. I felt that being the christians kept the faith no matter what and prayed and helping each other out and the bully decided toward the end to become a christian;I was glad of those events. The way this world is heading it is just a matter of time as the power play is going on at this moment. I may not live to see it as I am hoping it won't be in my lifetime. I would be at peace with my Savior. Amen to that.
I give it 3 stars. I was looking forward to reading the next chapters. Jean Decker

Religion is always a difficult subject to write (or read) about, as it provokes deep-seated emotions of one sort or the other. This story is no different. Although the writing style painfully lacks editing, I found myself drawn into the story, which is about the apocalypse as predicted in the bible, the fall of western democracy, the end of the present age, the return of Jesus, and the ultimate victory of good over evil.
Many of the horrific events predicted in this book seem far-fetched and impossible, and it’s easy to sneer, shake the head in denial, and say it could never happen. But the truth is that many of the atrocities have transpired once before with the mass murder of the Jews by the Nazis during World War II.
If this book was properly edited I would give it four stars; in its current shoddy state I can only give it two stars -- which is a shame.

What is the book about?
An Arizona church that takes care of all it's members is is dying out. The second family who is in charge at the church has decided to head to Wyoming to escape the persecution of Christians.
What did I think of the book?
I've never really thought about the idea of Christians being persecuted for their beliefs, and this book shows how scary it would be if it actually happened. Christians aren't usually the ones that you would imagine being persecuted since they are so overwhelming in population, but it's been done before to other religions so I suppose it's not all that unfathomable.

Overall, I enjoyed the book. Events happening right now could very well lead us toward a similar end. The story was interesting, although the characters seemed a bit two-dimensional. Also, considering that the author has a BA in English, I was surprised at all of the typographical errors and badly written dialogue. Still, if you enjoy end times fiction, as I do, it's a good, quick read. The problems in this book would not deter me from reading his other works.

This one seemed like a very awkward first try at writing a novel. I was rather disappointed. I'm not sure if I could read his others although I might give it a try just to see if they are any better.
