About Abigail Isaac

I began writing at fourteen to entertain my sister, but it took me almost four years before I wrote something that might be considered half way good, and another year or two to fully complete a novel, The Sweeper Pilot. Since then, I’ve written a variety of both short stories and parts of novels, all of them science fiction of some variety.

Currently, I live in South Dakota. I attend college, work at the writing center and study to be an elementary teacher. When I have time, I write, draw, waste time and read good books.

Reviews of Watching From a Distance by Abigail Isaac

Joy Johnson reviewed on May 16, 2012

On the positive side: This is a very creative idea. It seems to have likeable characters.
On the negative side: There are MANY technical problems. Grammar is the most noticeable issue with the piece. Miss use of adverbs, and bad sentence structure should be rooted out before publication.
Words for the author: You have a creative mind. This much is clear. However, I suggest you take some remedial college level writing classes. I also suggest you find a creative writing group and become a member. Sometimes reading your story aloud to an audience will help you develop the piece better than on your own.
