“I Saw the Light” is a beautiful and emotional journey that is both inspiring and gripping at the same time. It takes the reader along her own journey, from an abused wife who tries to take her own life, to an inspiring teacher who uses her own experiences from that journey to help others. When reading it, I felt a renewed sense of faith that had become somewhat jaded over the last few years. It is well written, to the point, and easy to follow. Not too short, and not too long, I had trouble putting it down and finished it, cover to cover, in about an hour. I would highly recommend this story for anyone. Excellent job and thanks for sharing it!

This is the third book I have read by this author. Her writing style is impeccable and her stories make me feel like I am there with her.
I Saw the Light is about the author's own personal near-death experience. It also tells the story of her father-in-law who suffers from cancer and dies. He returns back to earth for 3 days in the form of a bird to ease the suffering of his wife of 50 years.
What an emotional and loving story. I enjoyed reading it very much. I have a different opinion of death and the hereafter and hope I am as brave as the author's father-in-law when I die. Thank you Ms Jeannie Walker for sharing your story with us.
