About Equipe

Founded in 1998, by Tony and Margaret Howson, Equipe started by works in East Africa and The Philippines, sponsoring the education of primary school children and providing aid for them.

Equipe is different to other charities, in that very little of its fundraising costs go on anything but the projects that it serves. The United Kingdom offers a Gift Aid option for all UK tax payers, and administration costs, advertising, staff and building expenses come from this and donations made for these purposes.

This means that all profits, after the book sellers take off their fees, will go directly to where it is needed most. No one project has been picked over another, and will be divided as necessary between them all.

•child sponsorship program
•a drop-in-centre for street children
•an orphanage
•support the building of water wells
•support building of tree plantations

So enjoyed reading these stories! What a delightful charitable project bringing such talent together and helping those who have no voice.

I just loved 'I Love You, Each, All, and Every Way' by Eric White & the illustrations by Cara Branigan matched the story perfectly. A delightful, witty, sweet story that won't fail to warm every parent's heart! Desperate to see this story in print and hope the formatting doesn't let it down as it will definitely become a favourite with my 2yr old.

I bought the book because of its charity connection not really knowing what I would be reading. However I thought 'I Love You, Each All, and Every Way! was delightful, exactly the type of book I would go out and buy to read to my little girls. The illustrations are quirky, capture the tone and humour perfectly, and are full of little details to make the reading experience more interactive. An absolute star of a story and one I'll really enjoy reading to both my daughters again and again!

Personally not as convinced by 'The Not So Helpful Butterflies' but would have genuinely paid more to get the first story so feel quite pleased to get two stories for the price of one!

Like its parent book project, “A Cuppa and an Armchair”, the first volume of “Cookies and Milk” – a lovingly put together pair of children’s tales – is a collaborative work joining authors, illustrators, and the charity Equipe in a twofold mission: To relieve the suffering and poverty-stricken around the world, and to share engaging stories with readers everywhere.

The warmhearted text of Eric White’s “I Love You Each, All, and Every Way!” finds perfect visual accompaniment with Cara Branigan’s sweet and playful illustrations; the story is sure to bring smiles to the faces of youngsters and their narrating parental figures, as it did to mine.

Lynette Davies’ “The Not So Helpful Butterflies” has both a valuable lesson on cooperation among friends and a very special illustrative team in some lucky 5- and 6-year-olds from the Year 1 class of Middlefield Community Primary School.

The cause is a great one, the price is right, and the potential for joy-filled storytime is unlimited. So for those who have little ones they love each, all, and every way, be a helpful butterfly and sit them down with “Cookies and Milk, Volume 1”!

"I Love You Each and Every Way" is a beautiful children's story (the dedication brought tears to my eyes!). Reading it just reminded me so much of how my hubby works away and how he thinks about his children all the time. I just love it and will recommend it to all. Now I am off in search of the print copy!!!

The two stories in this volume should bring a smile to every parent who reads them to their children, and to every child sitting on their parents lap and listening to the tales!

"I Love You Each, All, and Every Way" reminds you of the pure joy it is everyday to be a parent! All of the little things that you experience with your child are so wonderfully expressed! Time goes by so fast, and one day those little feet will be all grown up and walking out the door! This story reminds us to cherish each moment with the ones we love each, all, and every way! And the illustrations are so beautiful! They capture the imagination of the kids in all of us!

"The Not So Helpful Butterflies" is an enchanting story that teaches children the important lesson of friendship, kindness, and helpfulness! It is such a sweet story, and the illustrations done by young children are so precious. Involving children in the making of this story embraces the moral of this story wonderfully!

The fact that these stories are bound together in one volume for a charitable cause, helping children around the world through the charity Equipe, makes this a must have collection for anyone who has a special child in their lives!
