The Catalyst: Preternaturals Book 3 by Zoe Winters
Kidnapping is not an appropriate way to acquire a babysitter. Ah, screw it. Desperate times... Panthers don’t do responsibility. They don’t do long-term relationships. They definitely don’t raise kids. But when Z discovers a young werewolf in the forest, he takes him in, unaware of the powerful beings hunting the pup. Plus the little furball is driving him insane.

While I've loved her other work, I put this book down. The believability and relatability factor with Fiona died the instant she decided that being knocked out and kidnapped didn't really matter: he had to be a good guy 'cause he was taking care of an abandoned pup. Uh-huh. And this is a housebound agoraphobic? Being sheltered and a wee bit of the same, I just couldn't believe it anymore. The writing was excellent, as always.
