About Gordon Houghton

I was born in Blackburn, England in 1965. All of my novels are available as paperbacks from Amazon, in Kindle format from the Kindle Store, and various other ebook formats here. If you're into dark fantasy, The Apprentice is a good place to start; if you prefer dystopian SF, try Max; and if you arrived here because of my time as a reviewer, Game Boy might be your thing. Finally, if you enjoy any of my books, please take the time to leave a rating or a review: it makes me unreasonably happy to hear what people think.

Review by: charlesrr on Feb. 18, 2013 :
An excellent book - far better than I had expected from an unknown author. Very well written, with only a slight tendancy to overdose on descriptions of everything. A few genuine moments of laughter too - for a story on such a harrowing subject, it was pleasantly light-hearted in places, full of hope and possibilities. I'd definitely read another novel set in this world.

A great read of a potential future with insights into the technology and psychology. Three separate stories (2 major, 1 minor), which tie together in the final chapters.
