About Justin James

From reading manuscripts to mainstream published works of both my own authors and those of other mainstream publishing houses, I love to be lost in the authors mind. The beauty of the written word is to not only entertain, but provide the reader with a fantasy world to be enveloped in, that is what I look for in both a personal read, and a manuscript.

Although most people will know me from my numerous Covers adorning the books of so many talented authors, I have also reviewed and interviewed some of the best authors in many genres including; Michelle L Montgomery, Geoffrey Knight, and G. B Hobson.
I have also been lucky enough to have reviewed and interviewed some very well known mainstream international bestselling authors such as; Jodi Picoult, Traci Harding, and Jennifer Fallon.

I class myself as a creative person who will try anything once, from creating a cutting edge logo design, to building a beautifully functional website; from inventing that perfectly sensual cover, to putting together the interior design of a hair salon. There is nothing that myself as CEO, and Dare Empire as a company cannot do, if your project requires creativity, we have it!

Decent story, a few things didn't add up though, Lucas;s lack of trauma at being raped, Craig's anger that dissipates without a trace and the cliff hanger ending.

Well written and delightful characters. The premise was plausible. The ending was surprising but tantalizing. Is there more to come?

I won't rate this book. It was a free read, so I don't feel I've the right to be picky.
I liked the writing, I liked how the story unfolded and then - just wham - it ended and left me hanging.
Wtf? Was this just a teaser for a longer story yet to come?

I only liked the first part where Toby found Lucas. The chapter where Lucas woke up did not do much for me. For someone who had just been sexually assaulted, he seemed okay. More infatuated by his saviour. And the character Craig was painted ugly. So ugly, it did not make sense there was a relationship continued on this. Too easy to dislike Craig but unconvincing to believe Lucas and Toby could find bonding too soon.
