32-year-old Kaz Carter leaves his small town for Toronto, where he finds work in a gay club. What Kaz doesn’t detect, though, is that he has fallen into the eyes of a psychotic hustler. Spellbinding, sensitive and beautifully written with passion and love. Karldon truly writes from the heart and the reader falls instantly in love with Kaz. The reader embarks on a journey of doubt, guilt, shame, secrecy, turmoil that leads to acceptance and love. Wonderfully & truthfully written, a true gem.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. There were many layers to the story, which made it a pleasure to read. I was particularly drawn to the colourful mix of characters who made me laugh out loud on many occasions. I would often envision seeing this animated cast of personalities on TV or the big screen some day. That would be most entertaining.
