I live on the outskirts of Nuremberg, and I love walking with my dog in the forest, which starts just across the road.
My greatest passions are the English language, writing, reading, and my aquariums.
I also love photographing, digital painting and creating digital art, crocheting, singing, travelling, learning languages, watching documentaries, etc.
In short, I love being creative and I'm interested in a vast variety of subjects.

After breaking up with her girlfriend Lauren moves to the quiet town of Mountain Creek. She stays with her friend Emma who introduces her to an interesting cast of characters, most importantly the local vet, Susan. Lauren is smitten from the start.
Lauren and the rest of the gang get involved in a mystery while Susan is faced with threats of death...
The book started out a bit slowly but became quite engaging as it went along. I really liked the plot and the various personalities of the different characters. It was really great that Ms DeLuna used all their personal experiences and not just that of one or two. The development of the characters was also wonderful. It was lovely to watch them change and find what they needed while maintaining friendships. I think the relationships between the friends was the core element to the story in spite of the mystery and romance.
There were a few sex scenes but they were mostly kissing then fade to black. It was a perfect way handle them in this book.
I've not had the pleasure to read anything by Ms. DeLuna before but the next book I read will be hers.
