In 2012 I set up a child-friendly website, www.megamousebooks.com, to offer free children's stories, ebooks and printable puzzles. Captain Snapchit is a nasty pirate. Neptune is a seafaring parrot on his ship. When disaster strikes, Neptune is left on his own. He flies to an island and makes friends with a flock of parrots. Captain Snapchit lands there too.
What follows are some rollicking tussles between pirates and parrots!

This was a sweet little story! I loved how accepting the other parrots turned out to be over Neptune's past.
