About Josh Wood

Josh Wood is a native Texan who is a fan of God, his wife, his eight kids, business, finance, politics, and spreadsheets. He is debating whether or not the self-publishing of one tiny little book allows him to justify adding the title of “author” to his résumé. He is leaning toward “yes.”

Initially I was a little nervous about reading this book as this is a topic that many nut jobs seem to enjoy expounding upon. However, I was curious, so I read it anyway and was pleasantly surprised. The author did an excellent job of candidly discussing the common questions, thought processes, and dilemmas he and others face when trying to determine God’s will. In addition, he shared practical solutions, principles, and advice that he has discovered on the topic. This short book is easy to read and understand, however, as is normal in life, practical application may be more difficult. I read the Kindle version and would also love to have the paperback version as well for my library or for sharing with someone who doesn’t have a Kindle. And yes, I think that this tiny little book does justify the title of “author” on Josh Wood’s résumé.

I received copy of How to Find God's Will by Josh Wood in exchange for a honest review.

I think most Christians struggle with the subject of following God's will (been there for a while now). And like the author says in his book, praying doesn't always seem to give us a clear answer. However, Josh Wood states that he can explain how a Christian can find God's will in three steps and I think he does the job very well. I have not come across a clearer explanation yet (which just might mean I have not read enough books on the subject).

A very quick read, with some light humor and clear examples how the author sees himself behaving and how he understands (based on the bible) he should behave, Josh explains how we should go about to find God's will for ourselves.

I recommend this book to any Christian looking for some insight to understand how to find God's will and sincerely hope Josh Wood will write more Christian books. Highly rated.

Loved this blog-like approach to an often deep subject. This format works so well with his premise - just live like Jesus where you are and stop trying to complicate "God's Will". I loved the stories and connections to life and will share and recommend to many - especially young adults.

This is a short, quick read, written in the same witty, sarcastic tone that I have grown to love through the author's blog. Typically I find self-help books difficult to read because I get so painfully bored. HOWEVER, this book got to the point quickly and concisely! The points are made through stories that I related to allowing me to practically apply them to my own life. I would recommend it ... or rather, have recommended it I guess.

First time writers can sometimes give a new perspective to an old subject, the Bible. I laughed with the author as I read his recollections of the flannel board to teach Sunday school. Friendly yet powerful. Will reread. Look forward to more from this author.

for a first time author, I really enjoyed this book, plenty of humor I can really relate to (velvet Zacheaus). Josh had some great advice and very biblical, and with the humor thrown in, to make it a great all around book.

How to Find God's Will: 3 simple steps by Josh Wood was a quick read. From which I came away with the feeling of spending time talking with a friend after reading it. It is is written in plain and simple language simple enough for anyone to understand. I enjoyed the humor he used to get the point across - "My Will vs. God's Will" . I will read this one again! I would recommend it to anyone wanting to improve their life.

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for my honest review, rather it be good or bad.
