This is the spiritual journey of a man, told in a simple, open style. The experience has native American influences.
It's not my usual type of book to read but kept me interested to the end.

"The Place" takes the individual experiencing this book into a life that is so far beyond the physical realm most people live in...work in...love in...exist in. Jerry opens all four dimensions of his life...physical, mental, emotional and mostof all spriitual" and invites the reader to look in the one place that truth never excapes from...inside ourselves. My dear brother, I thank you for the adventure that our lives are together, the lives of mine that you have been the intecessor of in their recovery, and the truth of a love between two brothers that can only be experienced in "The Place".

"The Place"... has a flow of captivating "spiritual" interest, within. I appreciated the authors style of leading the reader, while maintaining that fragile balance, which in turn enables the reader to draw upon their (own personal) inner truth, by means of the authors life experiences. Fascinating. "The Place" triggered something (of a higher realm) within my self.

If you're a spiritual person you will enjoy this autobiography. The best thing about it is that it's all true. It blew my mind.
