Christopher Connelly is a New York Times featured blogger and is fascinated with Silver Creek, located on the opposite end of the country in Oregon. In the history of the town, no one has died despite occurrences which would have, normally, killed numerous people.
Christopher is on the prowl and he wants to find answers. In the process, he realizes that nothing is really what it seems and, sometimes, what he thought he wanted most is really the thing he wanted the least.
The story was engaging and the ending had an unexpected twist, yet it fit with the moral of the story - that we have to stay firm in our convictions to be at peace with ourselves, regardless of what the future brings.
I read this story in 45 minutes before going to sleep and would definitely read other titles by this author.
