This is very well written and the story develops in a realistic and believable way. I stopped reading at 50% because I really did not like the bad guy, and did not want to spend anymore time with him.

I will be looking for other works by the author as I enjoy the style and quality of her writing. I just don't want to be that close to the bad guy.

I really liked this book. The story was excellent. My attention was capturedfrom the first chapter. I found myself imagining I was the female character & how I would've handled her situation. This was an excellent, exciting, & thought-provoking read. Will definitely reread this one and look forward to more from this author.

I read this book in just two days. Apocalyptic-story fans will enjoy this tale. Survival skills, horses, bad guys, and a mother who finds her strength and priorities during a vacation- turned-world-crisis. Good read!
