Punchafish

Rated 5.00/5 based on 1 reviews
In the tradition of "Moby Dick," "The Old Man and the Sea" and the great Ali-Foreman bout of 1974 comes a man vs fish story for the 21st century. It's survival of the fittest for George Miller, a down-and-out working stiff who has to beat the odds (and a really big fish) to reclaim his dignity. Short story, humor, around 2000 words.

About Paul Hawkins

American author. I am happy to be a child of the space age and I still set my sights on great things. I put humor in everything I write because that is my disposition. If I chronicle the 20th century it is only because I have not given up on the 21st.

A very funny micro-brewery version of Hemingway and Melville. For me, Paul Hawkins' stories are like Three Stooges short films. They definitely punch above their weight in the comedy ring.
