A competently written piece which has some interest. If it is factual then how come the writer persisted for so long — sounds as though they had a death wish. If it is fiction then nothing much happens and it is a pretty dull short story. The moral doesn't justify the length of the piece.

Great story. It sounds like you are developing an inventory of personal accounts. I have several hundred similar stories that I have written about me, my parents, my kids and now my grandkids. I started doing this after the birth of my first grandchild to preserve a written history. That led me to lots of other writing including fiction. Your blogsite is a good idea - good luck with it. It's a great way to share your stories. I will watch for your novel when it comes out.

Good luck with your writing.
