About David Hunt

David is a retired elementary principal. He worked with kids from preschool age to sixth grade. He currently teaches for Park University and William Jewell College. David resides in Independence, MO with his lovely wife Sandy and their Pekingese, Rockie. In his spare time David performs magic shows and plays Santa Claus during the holiday season.

Dr. Hunt does an exceptional job describing humorous anecdotes from his years as a teacher and principal. A must read for new school administrators.

This book was a delightful collection of stories from an elementary school principal. The stories David Hunt told about the children were often funny, sometimes moving, but what came across most powerfully was Dr. Hunt's love of his job and the many children he got to know quite well over their five or six years of elementary school.
