A short story by White Feather about some gods who were bored and needed something new and exciting to do. More
Once, in a universe far, far away, there lived some Gods who were bored and in need of something new and exciting. One of the Gods came up with a wonderful idea. This God suggested moving the universe to a new location next to another universe that was very busy with activity. Being right next to this other universe, perhaps new ideas would leak into their universe, and an interchange of ideas could take place. So the Gods moved their universe and began watching for entities from the other universe to either come into theirs or to think thoughts that the Gods could use in their universe..... This short story is excerpted from White Feather's book, The Whooping Crane Saga and Other Stories.

This one is a tough one for me to rate because I really like the premise, yet it feels underdeveloped. The imagination on display here is first-rate; the writing, however, needs to slow down. It's the old adage of show, don't tell. There's an awful lot of telling in this story. It needs to slow down and go into detail--What are the names of the gods? How do they look? Still, I really appreciate the imagination.
