Reviews of Erika and the Vampire by E. P. Beaumont

silverbirch reviewed on Oct. 8, 2012

Erika and her friends live in a world of witches, witch-finders and vampires and yet, as in all great fantasy, it is a world we will recognise as our own.

At it's heart this is a book about growing up in a world that isn't how it used to be, and the loss of innocence that goes with that realisation.

A moving and haunting work, that will leave you wishing we could have created a better world for our children, full of characters drawn from life.
