Slade Carver is an unemployed and broke cowboy and former big game hunter who answers an ad for a ranch hand at the Bent R Ranch. As he approaches the entrance to the ranch he notices there's a lot of work to be done on the place and isn't sure he wants to tackle the job single-handed. He also notices a very hot and young woman leaving the barn. The story is going to test Slades convictions about his life and what he will do to earn a living. I was very surprised by the ending and hope Slade can escape to play again. I like the book and recommend it to adults.

I've read very little of erotica but enough to know what to expect--one dimentional characters having sex repeatedly will little or no story at all. Author Jeffrey Kosh breaks the mould of the expected once again with his steamy Thrill of the Hunt with fully fleshed characters and an engaging storyline. The sex is there but takes the place it should--as a rewarded climax to a nice slow build up. Thrill of the Hunt is a fun romp in the hay written with style, humor and intelligence. I must also add that this erotica is hot for both men and women, regardless of your orientation. A great read!

Slade Carver is a buff, virile, down on his luck former big-game hunter, turned ranch hand. Looking for a way to make some badly-needed cash, he accepts a job tracking down a beast that’s been killing livestock. He soon find out there’s more than meets the eye to this job, and it comes with excellent fringe benefits. The summer heat turns into heat of another sort, and somewhere along the way the tables are turned from hunter to hunted…
Author Jeffrey Kosh steps outside his usual realm of the horror genre, and plunges deep into erotica. Not satisfied to lay a simple tail, uh, tale of mere sex, the author mixes sultry imagery and throbbing body parts with a thriller's storyline that keeps the reader hot, bothered, and guessing who or what is coming next. Be aware that explicit descriptions and sexual suggestiveness are worked throughout!
Excuse me, I need to go take a cold shower now…

This book is very much the erotic thriller that it claims to be. Jeffrey Kosh has a way with words to make this book flow in a very lustful and unexpected way. His descriptions of the human body and the state of mind his characters within these steamy pages will leave you longing to turn the page, and all this why weaving a thriller and a story of the hunter becoming the hunted.
Jeffrey has a way of giving more to each of his lead characters. In this book the man is Slade Carver. As you read you find that Slade is more than just the hot and sexy cowboy. He is really just a lost soul in need of rescuing and who is trapped by something, or someone who is more than he ever thought possible.
Please keep in mind if you purchase this book that it is an EROTIC THRILLER and in being so does have some very descriptive sexual scenes and sexual suggestions throughout. But as with all of Jeffrey's writing, he writes in a manner where his words allow you to feel the passion and emotion that is taking place in that moment and his words are never disturbing in any way.
