Loddy Da, a dog who likes to play and to eat treats, gets a free wish from Lindy,a magic gopher. Loddy uses her wish on a jet plane in which she flies all over the country, stuffing herself on her favorite treats. As she is doing this, she notices hungry dogs along the way. One wish leads to three as Loddy changes her world-view from self-indulgent to helping hungry animals.

About Jane Gilbert

Jane Gilbert has written both for business and for fun. Part of her work involves community development, grant writing, and creating marketing plans for businesses, government agencies, and nonprofits. Over the years she earned several awards and has been recognized by government agencies and colleges for various genres of writings. She has published essays, poetry, a family cookbook entitled "This Taste Bud's For You," short stories, and two books composed of diverse writing genres: "I Need Music When I Write" and "Slow Dance on the Sand." These are self-published paperbacks for personal use.

Jane's experiences include writing and editing for authors (nonfiction and fiction; numerous genres).

Jane is actively compiling facts and experiences to write a bibliography of her mother, Gleva M. Jacobson. Gleva's wisdom and fortitude as an entrepreneur created a legacy worthy of sharing. Gleva was the owner and general manager of Hills Telephone Company, an independent telephone company with eight (8) exchanges in Minnesota and Iowa, from 1954 until it was sold in 1980.

She is working on a book about a vacation she took in 2001. It taught her tremendous life lessons.

A children's book about society finches,"Twitter and Coco, Busy in Their Forever Home", will be available in 2017.
