About Melinda Lusmore

Melinda Lusmore lives in Brisbane, Australia. Her love affair with France started in 2006 when she spent one month on her own, travelling extensively throughout the country. Motivated primarily by a fear of driving through large cities, she stayed in smaller towns and, while avoiding the major highways, discovered that rural France is filled with gorgeous villages and glorious countryside.
What better way to experience all the delights of rural France than to walk one of its hundreds of well marked walking paths?
Several of her friends also thought this sounded like a mighty fine idea and, as she started to do a little more research, she found that she had many more questions than answers.
Maybe you have a lot of questions too?
Walking in France turned out to be such a fabulous experience that she can’t bear the thought of it ending up in anyone’s too-hard basket. So her goal is to give you everything you need to choose a walk, plan your itinerary and book your accommodation.

Makes me want to grab my backpack and go! Wonderful photos! Lots of useful information on where to stay and what to see. Advice on cafes, trains, busses and what to bring etc. And if that isn't enough, there are links to even more information. All concisely written so you can spend your time experiencing instead of reading. Well done!

I''ve read all e-books published by this author and I hope there are more to come. They are full of really useful info and you don't have to wade through a lot of irrelevant stuff. Stunning photos too.
