Loved it. Mysteries are either hit and miss with me. Either I figure them out way to early and it ruins it, or it keeps you turning pages. This one keeps you turning pages. I love stories that have never slow down, and this one doesn’t. There are a lot of characters to keep up with at first but it doesn't deter from the story. In fact, for me at least, it kept me enthralled. Definitely worth the read.

I received a copy in exchange for an honest review.

What a great debut novel! Incredible job for a first timer,I am greatly impressed. Kudo's to Lindy Spencer on a job well done.

Wow,What a read! This story is intricately woven with the lives of quite a few characters.
The perspective jumps around a lot.But this is so each character gets a chance for their story to told. So,be alert and pay attention. You don't want to miss out on anything.

I found this story to full of mystery and I can't count how many times I found myself saying.... "Holy S&*T and That SOB!" or "Serves them right!" And then I get to the end and am blown away!!
I Literally said "You've got to be kidding me!" I didn't expect that!!

I don't want to give anything away because of this being so new on market, so I will leave you hanging on the thought of....

"SURPISE ENDING"!! "GASPS"

**Hurry and go get your copy now! You will not be sorry.

The Boomerang Effect by Lindy Spencer is a mind bending exploration of what can happen when Karma and vigilante justice collide.

It’s rare that people think about the ways in which their lives are interwoven with complete strangers and casual acquaintances, but Ms. Spencer brings this intricacy of everyday life and its consequences into the forefront of the reader’s mind. She is able to craft characters in such a way that the reader feels genuine emotion toward each one and is pulled completely into their world.

The perspective jumps around a lot to ensure that each character’s story is told in a manner that allows the reader to understand how they connect to each other, so I will caution readers to make sure they pay attention. However, I do not feel the changes in perspective were excessive or distracting. In fact, I felt this format added to the storyline as a whole.

If you’re a fan of mysteries, thrillers, or books that get into your head, you need to pick up a copy of The Boomerang Effect by Lindy Spencer. However, be warned… It may have you thinking about the connections you’ve made and the kind of Karma that may be making its way back to you…

Really nice first effort; Madame Sheredska foresees great success with this author's future offerings. Following a well thought-out plot and sequence of events, the sucker punch of the ending is a sharp twist of the rind in this literary martini. Dirty or not, it's a tasty mouthful. Drink up!

The Boomerang Effect is an appropriate title for a book that you can't set down for long. You keep coming back for more. An enjoyable thriller. Suspenseful and full of characters both likeable and detestable that keep you interested and involved until the end. And what an end!

I'm hoping for a sequel to Boomerang and many more mystery novels from this up and coming new author who is poised to take the literary world by storm.

Great read! I was drawn in within reading the first few pages.

At first, I had a hard time keeping the characters of the story straight, but I stuck with it and everything made sense.

Nice twist at the end.

My only "Gripe" is that the book ended with some things unresolved.

The author definitely leaves you wanting more!

I have to admit, I found it a little difficult at first to keep up with who was who. However it really didn't take long to keep the characters straight in my head.

I loved the idea behind the Boomerang plot and it was well laid out.

The ending surprised me and the whole story, in my opinion, was very well written.

Well done Lindy, hope to read more books from yerself :)

I have to say, Im not one to actually make it through an entire book (usually fall asleep and/or dont have enough time), but since Lindy is a close friend of mine, I had to do this! To my surprise, I could not put the book down! The first chapter sucks you in and as with any great story line, you are left wanting more by the end of each chapter! I made it through this book in 3 days and thats saying a lot for me!!!! Highly recommend and I am pushing for a sequel...or even better, a movie!

Lindy Spencer has put together a complex cast of characters so well developed, it is easy to imagine this story as an ensemble film. She has found the formula of giving the reader just enough information to feel one is in on a secret, but not quite understanding just what that secret might be.
Open it on a day you don't have much to do; you won't want to put it down until you turn the last page. Even then, you'll wish there were more.
