Sinclair and His Excellent Plaid Paws

On the first day of school, Sinclair tells his teacher he feels “discombobulated.” As he begins to explain what such a large word means, some bears giggle and make fun of his plaid paws. For the first time, Sinclair feels unlike other bears. He and his classmates struggle to understand bigotry in this gentle lesson about respect and acceptance, and the true meaning of beauty and diversity.
