About Rodney Scully

My name is Rodney Allan Scully, I was born in the picturesque northern community of Wawa Ontario Canada, near the shores of beautiful Lake Superior. I am happily married to my highschool sweetheart and am a proud father of two young boys. We currently live in New Liskeard Ontario, enjoying all the area has to offer. Aside from my writing, I enjoy fishing and camping, every opportunity I have during the summer months. For my day job,(the one that pays the bills) I work as a Process Control Coordinator for Georgia Pacific’s Englehart Division, taking care of Special Product Runs, Trials and am a key contributor to Product Development.

My dream is to one day return to Wawa, and build a home for my family by one of the many pristine lakes found throughout Michipicoten’s enchanting lands. For me, the countless places in the endless forests, remind me of Silvinesh and the elvin woods I describe in my novels. Many of my inspirations have come from this place I call home. My love of fantasy and epic stories of adventure, have followed me for most of my life. I began seriously writing my first novel, back in 2006, trying to find a creative way to express my feelings and ideals, through literature. In this, I found it was a way to share with others, the magical world I have always imagined and the family of elves that I have grown to love.

I currently have two novels published and am working on the third and final book in my Silvinesh Series, tentatively set for release, early next year. To learn more about me and my work, visit
