An exploration of the power of language to invoke alternate states of consciousness. More
Poets have always known what science has now shown: the way we read, listen to, and interpret words stimulates the brain with the same if not more force than physical experience. As a master Neuro-Linguistic Programmer, kriya yoga meditator, and lifetime poet, I work to create word-organisms which evoke sound and image patterns that activate the brain in unique ways. My goal is to give the reader access to experience that has hitherto been considered only the domain of spiritual practices such as meditation, mantra chanting, or the visual focus on mandalas. Sri Bhavavan of Oneness University in Golden City, India has authorized my poetry as a "deeksha" or divine blessing.

Roy's images pulse with life, dazzle with fresh, green energy. He points towards the mysteries of transcendence and lie before us lightly veiled. I find myself re-reading his poems and imagining illustrations for them. Although I understand and appreciate the ebook format, I long to see visual images filled with color and light to accompany his text. I suspect he would say that those images are for the reader to supply. Point well taken.
