This story is about a man called Mr. Henry and a young lady called Stephanie, how they met and what transpired after their first meeting. They are the two main characters and the whole story revolves around them. Stephanie was an orphan Mr. Henry took in and decided to help. He was helping her because he had a similar story and had said he will never see anybody with a similar story walk by him without him helping. He decided to accommodate her and took care of all her needs. All he wanted was to make her feel comfortable and achieve something for herself. Mr. Henry had a wife and children with whom Stephanie to live with as one big family. He had brought his children up in a way that they never underestimated anybody. He brought them up himself and had made them to understand no condition in life was permanent. He made them understand everybody was equal no matter the financial background. When he brought Stephanie into the house, they were very happy they had gotten another person to add to their family population. The early days in the house before his wife died were very nice. The children loved her and they treated her as their sister. His wife died years later and Mr. Henry decided to take another wife. The rest of the children were happy their father was taking another wife as they knew they were not going to be by him forever. They were already grown up and wanted their father to marry somebody he could love. Their primary concern was their father’s happiness and welfare. They were not bordered about the age of the person or the way their father was going to love them after marriage. They knew they were already out of the house and were only going to be coming there occasionally. They wanted him to get married so that his new wife could love and take care of him. They were all very big and had limited time to spend with the old man. Besides that, their father had waited for too long for most men could never have waited for that long. Nobody knew why Stephanie was the only child who was not happy for the old man. She started doing terrible things in the house to make life uncomfortable for the new wife. She did so many things that brought so much confusion into the family but she was tolerated for a long time. It was the last thing she did that finally caused the man to abandon her again and she had to go back to where she was before she was adopted. She went back to her frustration though this time she had achieved something for herself and could continue from there. She could not endure her stressful life and so came back to ask for forgiveness for all she had done.
