Review by: Tiffany Apan on March 24, 2014 :
Kransen House is one of those books you go into thinking you know what you're going to get. But just when you think you know what's going on, you are thrown for yet another loop. My only critique is that sometimes the speech of the characters seemed a little too modern for it's time (1930s), but other than that, I found this to be a very good read (probably my favorite so far by Sara Brooke) and would definitely read it again.
If you are looking for a "nice little ghost story," this may not be one you would enjoy. But if you want a story that's wonderfully dark, sick, and twisted, I'd say give Kransen House a try.
