About Casey Odell

Born in 1988 in Hudson, Florida, where she still resides and sweats in the heat. She has a Bachelors of Science in film from Full Sail University where she learned a little bit about crafting stories. It wasn’t until after she graduated that she really delved into writing and she wrote her first book, Cursed.

When not writing, she likes to lose herself in books and TV, and dabble in other artistic ventures like coloring, drawing, and photography. She also likes to travel when she gets the chance and even started a blog about it, Devil’s Hole Ventures. She’s a big nerd as well with a video game collection that rivals her book library, a pop culture junkie, and toy collector. She loves fashion and thrift shopping, calling herself a well dressed nerd.

Also, she is obsessed with her cats, taking way too many pictures of them. Enough with the cats already, geez!

A decent read written by a talented author that was a very young lady at the time that she wrote it. It has very few typos, which is always a plus. This story is magnificent in someways, but just falls very flat in other ways. It was a bit heavy on romance and people apologizing.

It's an enjoyable read....I think it is more suitable for those who like romance fantasy. I like the lead character. Will be getting the second book even though the exchange a bit steep for me at 3.5!

I tried to read this, but couldn't get past the modern dialogue. It was several paragraphs before I realized she wasn't talking about Stockton, CA. I tried to keep reading, hoping to get thru the LOTR 'fanfic' feel. Sadly, I didn't make it. 3 stars for effort, though.

Loved it!!!!! Just wish I could afford to buy the other books but the Rand / Dollar exchange is a bit steep for my pocket. Would love to find out how the story ends.

I really enjoyed this story, the characters are somewhat predictable, but that's good as long as the story telling and theme develop well and I felt this one did.
