I heard about this book from the author as he hosts a weekly radio program. I absolutely loved it. Since it is centered in the town where I reside it was intersting to note the places mentioned. I am not a hunter but one need not be to enjoy this mystery story. The deer camp adds a clever background however does not dominate the story line. I found the characters likeable. A fun read!

This is a well written mystery that should appeal to the big woods deer hunter as well as those interested in the PA Dutch local. The story transports the reader through prevalent sites and landmarks throughout the keystone state.
