I am a middle-aged, male professional and can't think of any other novel, "erotic fiction" or not, which has reached into me and moved me like this book. (I am writing this after reading Part 1 twice, and desperate to read the rest.) At times, I thought of putting it down and reading no more, because it was powerful enough to evoke many memories of slightly similar situations. Erotic fiction for men, definitely. I suspect women would enjoy it at least as much however. Must read more by this gentleman!
