This is a wonderful idea for a bible study book. I like how it correlates the month and day with a specific scripture verse. It's a good way to start reading the Bible and going in depth with the stories behind the scriptures.

So I already thought that Rachelle was an amazing writer due to her last book that I read but the fact that she can jump from a love tell that involves a rape and possible abortion and then write this book that had to have had alot of time and effort put into writing it and choosing the write verses for each day, but know I am just blown out of the water. I love the fact that each date is actually the exact bible verses for example my birthday is November 2nd and the verse that goes with that date is "Luke 11:2 - And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth". The only thing that I would have preferred to be different are the verses are in King James format and I am partial to NIV or New International Version but that is just my personal preference. Other then that I think that is book is perfect.

Hello, I hope ya'll are doing good! I am very happy that I was given the opportunity to review Rachelle Ayala's book; "Your Daily Bible Verse."

First of all, I would like to say that I consider reading the Bible a privilege. A privilege that is denied to many.

Ms. Ayala has written a Bible study book unlike any other I have ever read. She had me getting out my Bible before I was even finished reading the introduction!

"Your Daily Bible Verse" is an unique book based on the month and day of the year. For instance on July 19th, you would be reading the 7th Chapter, 19th Verse of which ever Book Ms. Ayala was led to choose for that day.

With some Bible study books one can read the scripture and commentary and feel that they have finished their Bible study; without ever opening the Bible. Ms. Ayala has written just the verse for the day. Some of them I recognize and know the story behind it, while other days have me going to my Bible to find out what is going on around the chosen verse. And, isn't that what a Bible study book should do? Have you digging deeper into the word of God. Ms. Ayala also gave me the idea to read the verses of my birthday. You should give it a try, it is a fun way to spend time in the word of God.

I definitely feel this is a book one would welcome into their Bible study collection. 5 Stars!! The book page can be found here:

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

I was blessed to be chosen to review this book, Your Daily Bible Verse by Rachelle Ayala. It is not your ordinary devotional/bible verse book. The neat thing about this one is that it has bible verses that are correlated by month and day to chapter and verse. What does this mean? It means that January 1 quotes the verse from Genesis 1:1 and it continues on until December 31 which quotes Mark 12:31. It is fun to look up special days such as your birthday or anniversary. Because each day is only one verse it is a quick read, but still gives you something to think about for the entire day. I downloaded this book onto my iPhone so that I have it with me at all times. You never know when you will have a second to dive into God's word. Another cool aspect about this book is that it has memorization tips for learning verses by rote. I am terrible at this and I have found that the tips do help. Currently I am learning Psalm 23 and I need any help I can get! The only thing I may change is that the verses are taken from the King James Version of the bible. I myself find this version difficult to understand and would prefer the New King James Version.
This is a great, handy little book. Perfect as a conversation starter or as a way to share the word of God. Who wouldn't be curious to find out what verse their birthday is?! I hope others find it as useful, as there are so many bible apps and devotionals available today. Luckily, the price is right at .99 cents! Buy it today at Smashwords.
