Parenting Without a PhD

Rated 5.00/5 based on 1 reviews
Being a parent doesn't have to be as hard as rocket science. It can be hair-pulling hard at times as wills are pushed up against each other. Sometimes what we need as parents are simply ideas: things to try, advice on how to handle certain situations. Temper tantrums, consequences, flexibility, attitude and more are addressed in easy to read chapters. Join me as I share what worked for me. More

I highly recommend Parenting Without a PhD. Do you find yourself "stuck" in a bad pattern or cycle with a child? Same problem, nothing is working? Are you looking for answers? Do you need guidance? This book is worth every penny. The straight forward advice, specific examples, guidelines and tips are so helpful. These tried and true methods provide such relief for the exhausted parent/care giver. The advice in this book gives me the ammo I need to tackle problems with confidence and keep my cool in trying situations. I love how this book reinforces the role of a parent as the role model and teacher. This is my favorite quote from the book: At the end of the day you want your child to understand two things- that you love them and that you mean what you say.
