I don't read a lot of fiction, but with the riveting story line, and the incredible character descriptions, I was captured from the first paragraph to the last. The author displayed immense knowledge in all subplots and how they linked up and integrated with one another; automobiles, the Dream Cruise, the Detroit metropolitan area, munitions, law enforcement. His detail in these areas, and believable character profiles, that were easy to visualize, bonded me to this book until completion. The Dream Cruise brings in a million visitors a year, and it would be nice to get this book in their hands. Although it is fiction, I can see it as a "I was there" book. I did not read it straight through, as time did not permit, but rushed back to it daily as though it was live commentary unfolding before my eyes. As a long-time resident of the area, I can validate the extreme accuracy the author provided as he took us through the various venues and journeys. My only disappointment was the last page, I wanted more. But the good news is, there IS more in the process. (Also, could this be movie material?)
