Paul Coppin was born in south London and joined the family butchery firm of Coppin Bros in 1965 at the age of 15, joining a long line of 16 family members to work in this traditional butchers since its founding in the 1800’s. This latest book is, in part, meant to keep alive 110 years of information about meat handed down through the family trade.
Although having been in the same job for almost 50 years Paul has many other interests, He was a semi-professional American football referee for 12 years and loves to travel having visited over 60 countries to date.
Paul has had two other books published (on Sussex history) and although still working at Coppin Bros in London he now lives near Lewes with his wife Janice

A very useful book indeed. A hands on guide as to which cuts to buy and what to look for, complete with photos of every cut, and clearly written by an expert. I cant believe no one has written a book like this before, I carry it on my kindle and actually refer to it while im shopping, very useful and a great money saver too
