This book was a good read. I enjoyed the story much. But because of the occasional typo, I took out one star.

Just like what the trailer said: It's darker than ever....

Creatures of the Dark is even more thrilling than Creatures of the Night. In this book, we are introduced deeper into the dark clan of Noirmelns. There are dark family secrets, dark plots and murders. Arsene is even cooler in my eyes than ever in this second installment. It keeps you guessing of the next turn at every page. You know that you will be totally indulged into the world of magic and supernatural when you read this series.

The most epic conclusion. I really love the book. A fresh new storm for the genre. It was so phenomenally influencing that I even had a hard time breathing after finish reading the book. I spent almost the whole day from morning to dawn just to reading this book. I could not put it down - the magnetism was just too strong and the thrill was non-stop. One of the best YA books that I have ever read. Totally worth my time. The next book now sounds very exciting and tempting. The moment I get my hands on it will be the moment I will spend my time reading it non-stop again. Totally recommended for dark tale fans.

When I began reading the book, I never thought that it would turn up like that. I thought Arsene was really dead, for good. But one by one, signs keep appearing and revelation is surfacing slowly bits by bits. and by the time it came to the climax of the secret, everything finally became clear. The progress is not slow, but not too quick as well. I love how magically revealed it was. Very beautiful, very terrifying. I was at awe when I read the part when she finally found out what has happened. Stella Purple is very talented, indeed.

Not only that, 'Creatures of the Dark' also takes deeper meaning of the term 'darkness'. The second book reveals more about Arsene's family, the Noirmelns, like never before. Family conflict and throne struggle filled the castle. The heroine's and her fellow groupy's friendship is being tested. I love every single stage of it. It made me could not wait for another book from 'The Creatures Series'.

Creatures of the Dark shows a darker side of Arsene.... if the first book is not dark enough already.

This is a piece of artwork - the way Stella Purple describe the wonderful yet terrible things in the magical world, hidden and co-existing with us, the humans, is just so beautiful and thrilling. This is a non-stop mystery and action, adventure and war. Not the the faint-hearted, I am guarantee.

Nice addition for the trailer and cover. This second book is really something else. The beginning of the story is not something I thought it would be before I started reading. The twists and turns of the plot are so rich, readers definitely can not ask for more.

A worth reading company, and surely a series anyone can enjoy!
