Not as good as the first book. Feels like the author tried to mimic the situational humor of Piers Anthony and failed. To much dependence on poor choices and Murphy for plot development.

The story does not progress, it stumbles from one scene to the next. Not sure why I read it all, maybe because I liked the first and hoped this one would get better?
