Review by: Jeff Bradley on Jan. 06, 2013 :
This short story provides a little closer look at the Terran, and provides some insightful information into one of the primary characters of the series. Though the book is not as exciting as First Contact itself, it still turns up pieces of information and adds it's own questions to the story line. This is the first support book I have read to a series released during the series, and for the price (especially if you bought First Contact) I am open to the idea of getting glimpses of information that are beyond the scope of the story. I have read many books that were support for a series which were written after the final book to explain this or that from a story. This approach is something different, little bits of extra information tossed in as we move along.
