When I took up this book....I sighed.

Am I really going to read a YA paranormal romance...with vampires? Guys don't read paranormal romance...with vampires!

But I have read much of Garden's work, and there is always a surprising twist to her stories that never ceases to amaze me.

So I downloaded, and I read, and I read...

The story is awesome! Ok, so there is a little too many vamps...but the story-line is a well thought out and creative adventure into magic and mystery!

I am always amazed at when someone creates a new world in a novel. She has indeed created a new world, and a whole new legend to build on.

I am totally impressed...and a little jealous!

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book!
Miss Summerland lays out an intriguing story of a magical young girl, Sugar and her vampire boyfriend, Emilian that leaves me with just one question...Will there be a sequel?

I don't even read YA, but after reading this I might start. I usually like my vampires a little rougher and edgier, more True Blood than Vampire Diaries, however, this story got me hooked. It is first and foremost a ROMANCE, then come the vampires. And it isn't overlly descriptive, as in every minute detail isn't described, leaving your imagination to work, which I enjoyed. If you love romance AND vampires as I do, you will enjoy this book.
